About “Long Space”

Long Space (7 Changxing Street) is situated in the historic core of Guangzhou’s old city.

This commercial district, transformed from a site of early modern cultural awakening, carries layered trajectories of overseas Chinese capital, urban transformation, and the unfolding of modernity—from the rise of Da Sun Department Store and the southward relocation of New Youth, to contemporary artistic practices today. Here, material and intellectual modernities converge.
